Communicare, Inc. shall operate its programs according to the following set of guiding principles or core values:

• Quality Treatment: Through 24 hour staff supervision and assistance in a supported independent home setting, we hope to maximize the functional skills and abilities of Residents.
  
  
• Program Evaluation: Program evaluation efforts, including resident, staff, and Community Consumer Evaluations, which will be utilized to ensure program effectiveness and quality.
  
  
• Resident and Family Adjustment: By effective family education and guidance with Resident Advocacy, Communicare, Inc. attempts to increase adjustment of the resident and the family to the residual effects of acquired brain injury, other neurological impairments and Developmental Disabilities
  
  
• Foster Return to the Community: Communicare, Inc. attempts to develop a system of personal and community resources to foster successful resident re-entry to their community.
  
  
• Community Awareness: Through presentations with public organizations, allied health professionals, brain injury support groups, and legislative bodies, we seek to increase community awareness of the need for the least restrictive community-based option for individuals with ABI, neurologic impairments and Developmental Disabilities.
  
  
• Staff Education.Through training Communicare, Inc. aims to provide resources necessary for continued education and professional growth of its staff.
